I’m thankful I selected Dr. Raskin to do a revision to my original breast reconstruction last month. I wish I hadn’t put off the revision as long as I did — it was a flawless experience. Now I can move on and enjoy my new look this summer.

Dr. Raskin gently encouraged me not to worry and to move forward and schedule! She assured me that great results could be achieved — I didn’t have to wait any longer with a look that didn’t suit me. It has now been seven weeks and I feel great — I have only the faintest of lines under each breast and I’m delighted with the final result.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2014. Aside from the devastating news our focus was finding the right doctors. We weren’t only looking for doctors that were good at what they did, but doctors that had that something special.

I remember my first visit with Dr. Raskin , my husband and I walked into the office where we were greeted by Jackie with warmth and professionalism. During our consultation I noticed how soft spoken Dr. Raskin was. She was very patient, took her time explaining my options and the procedures step-by-step. She allowed us to ask questions and bring up our concerns without making us feel rushed. Upon leaving that day I knew that she was the one I wanted to do my reconstruction surgery. I trusted her tremendously and felt that I was in good and able hands.

Before my surgeries, I couldn’t imagine what my breasts would look like. But, I must say, Dr. Raskin did an amazing job. She made me feel whole again. I can proudly look in the mirror and smile at the results and very minimal scarring. I would recommend Dr. Raskin to any and everyone.

There are really no words to describe my experience with Dr Raskin. I have had 4 surgeries over the past 5 years after being diagnosed with breast cancer and having a lumpectomy. I then had reconstructive surgery, but there were complications. I recently had a consultation with Dr. Raskin, who I was referred to by my previous surgeon. I immediately knew that she understood how I felt and she obviously saw how emotional I still was about the way I felt about myself, not looking normal. The care, concern and kindness overwhelmed me and now 2 weeks after my surgery I look like myself again. I know cancer is a very hard thing to go through, but in some way, even though we just want to get through it and behealthy I also wanted to look like myself again. Dr. Raskin and her assistant Lisa are amazing, kind people and I will always be truly grateful!!!

Shortly after making the decision to have a mastectomy and reconstruction, I met with Dr. Raskin. I was impressed with her credentials and appreciated her quiet, confident manner. After choosing Dr. Raskin as my plastic surgeon I never had cause for doubt or fear. All of my questions were answered and the process was explained in detail. After my in-patient surgery Dr. Raskin came to visit me. The pain management was incredible and all of my needs were met. Now, at the end of my surgeries and treatments, I am very happy with the results. The last year was made considerably lighter because of the confidence I have in Dr. Raskin and because of her compassionate, understanding manner.
