VirtueRF microneedling works on two levels. The microneedling aspect of the process features 36 gold-coated microneedles. These needles create precise controlled microinjuries in the skin at various levels. The body’s healing response is triggered, resulting in growth of new collagen protein.
The RF aspect of the process involves the application of radiofrequency energy to the skin tissues. The heat from this energy remodels collagen and elastin protein, tightening sagging skin.

The VirtueRF Microneedling Process

At the start of a VirtueRF microneedling treatment session, a compounded numbing cream is administered to the treatment region. This allows for a virtually pain-free treatment.
Next, the SmartRF handpiece is held against the skin, where its sterile microneedles penetrate into the skin layers. This is guided using an RPD (robotic precision delivery) system. Radiofrequency energy is then delivered through the microneedles into the skin tissues. A full face treatment takes around 20 minutes to complete.
Aftercare
Once the treatment session is complete, virtually zero downtime or recovery time is required. A microcurrent post-treatment wet and dry face mask helps with this process by delivering vitamins and antioxidants deep into the skin tissues. This reduces redness on the skin and encourages healing.
